Henry Laming was the husband of Susan Baker, daughter of George Baker and Jane Higgins.

OBITUARY. Mr. H. Laming, who died on August 2 at Yeo street, Semaphore, was born in Kemp, England, on January 12, 1856. He was the eldest son of the late James and Eliza Laming, and came to Australia with his parents at the age of 3 to live at Peachy Belt. He went to the Hundred of Pirie East in the seventies,  working for the late Mr. H. B. Welch for a number of years. He married Susan, sixth daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Baker, of Port Gawler, in 1882. In 1885 he purchased the land known as Perry Brothers’ farm at Pirie East, and remained there until 1911 when he retired to Port Pirie and later Semaphore. Mr. Laming leaves a widow and one daughter Mrs. B. J. Martens, of Clare, and two grandchildren, A. J. Martens R.A.A.F., and Miss L. M. Martens. Woodville.
